I've never understood the negativity toward Bioshock 2, but having said that I would argue that the side-chapter Minerva's Den is arguably superior, as it doesn't perform the Same-But-Different approach that the main game itself takes. But the new content is more tightly knit and the Macro to Micro shift of storytelling actually helps things greatly, and more than before the graffiti, this time showing the mathematical rantings of a madman, is disturbing.
